Политика конфиденциальности

WMW ("we", "us") provides free online developer tools and utilities at wmw.tools (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

• Account information: if you create an account, we store your name, email address, hashed password, and an optional profile avatar you upload.
• Usage data: tool views are counted in aggregate. If you're signed in, your tool history and favorites are stored against your account so you can find tools you've used again. If you're not signed in, the same features work using cookies on your own device instead (see Cookies below).
• Comments: if you post a comment on a tool page, we store the comment text, your account, and the time it was posted.
• Content you submit to a tool: many tools process the text, files, or URLs you submit to return a result. Where a tool runs entirely in your own browser, nothing is sent to our servers. Where a tool needs server-side processing (for example, resolving a video download link), your input is used only to produce your result and isn't retained once the request completes, unless that tool's own description says otherwise.

Cookies

• Session & security: a session cookie and CSRF token to keep you signed in and protect forms.
• Preferences: your light/dark theme choice and selected language.
• Guest activity: if you're not signed in, two cookies store which tools you've favorited or recently used, on your own device only, for up to a year.
• Analytics: Google Analytics, described below.

Analytics & Third Parties

We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used (pages visited, general location, device type). Google may set its own cookies for this purpose; see Google's Privacy Policy for details. Some tools call third-party services on your behalf (for example, a downloader tool fetching a public video URL you provide) in order to perform their function. We don't sell your data to anyone.

Data Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from your profile, which removes your stored history, favorites, and comments tied to it. Guest cookies expire automatically after a year, or immediately when you clear your browser's cookies.

Your Rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account data at any time via your profile settings, or by contacting us at info@wmw.tools.

Children's Privacy

WMW's tools are intended for general and professional use and aren't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
