TikTok Video Downloader saves a public TikTok video to your device, with a watermark-free option when TikTok provides one. Paste a video link, pick a quality, and download -- no account, no browser extension, and no TikTok login required.
How It Works
When you paste a link, the server resolves the video's available formats using yt-dlp, an open-source media resolver, and lists the qualities available without logging in, including the watermark-free file when TikTok exposes one. When you press Download, the server fetches that file and relays it straight back to your browser as a download -- it is deleted from the server the moment it finishes sending.
Problems it solves
- Saving a TikTok video without the watermark overlay, for reuse somewhere a clean video is needed.
- Saving a video for offline viewing somewhere streaming is not practical, like a flight or an area with no signal.
- Avoiding a browser extension or desktop app just to save one video.
How to Download
- 1 Copy the video link -- open the video on TikTok and copy its link from the Share button.
- 2 Paste and fetch -- paste the link and press Fetch to load the caption, creator, and available formats.
- 3 Pick a format -- choose the watermark-free option if available, or a standard quality.
- 4 Save the video -- press Download and follow your browser's prompt.

TikTok can briefly rate-limit automated requests -- reopen the video on TikTok.com to confirm it still plays, then try again after a short wait.
›No "No Watermark" option appears
Not every TikTok video has one available -- when TikTok does not expose that file, only the regular quality options are shown.
›Downloaded video still has the watermark
Double check you selected the option labeled "No Watermark" specifically, rather than one of the other quality entries.
›Video and audio seem out of sync
Try fetching and downloading again -- this is uncommon and usually resolves on a second attempt.

›Is this legal?
It depends on the video and your local law. This tool only retrieves the same public video TikTok already sends to any browser that loads a public video page -- it does not unlock private videos. TikTok's own terms technically restrict third-party downloading, though enforcement against personal, occasional use is weak and there is a large market of similar tools. You should still respect the original creator's rights, especially for anything you plan to reuse or republish.
›What does "No Watermark" actually mean?
TikTok itself provides one specific version of each video without the spinning TikTok logo and username overlay that normally appears in the corner. This tool labels that exact file "No Watermark" when TikTok makes it available. The other quality options are the same files TikTok's own player uses, which typically do carry that overlay.
›Why did fetching fail for my link?
The video may be private, deleted, or region-locked, or TikTok may be rate-limiting automated requests at that moment -- this can happen even for a valid public link. Reopen the video on TikTok.com, confirm it still plays there, copy the link again, and try once more after a short wait.
›Can I download a TikTok Stitch or Duet as just the original clip?
No, a Stitch or Duet downloads as the single combined video TikTok actually serves -- there is no way to separate the two halves after they are published.
›Does this work for TikTok Photo Mode posts?
No, this tool is built for TikTok's video posts. Photo Mode slideshow posts are a different content type and are not currently supported.
