How It Works
When you paste a link, the server reads the template's public page and extracts the direct preview video address CapCut already embeds in it. When you press Download, the server fetches that file and relays it straight back to your browser as a download -- it is deleted from the server the moment it finishes sending.

It depends on how you use the file and your local law. This tool only retrieves the same public preview video CapCut already sends to any browser that loads a public template page -- it does not unlock private or restricted content. You should still respect the original template creator's rights, especially for anything you plan to reuse or republish.
›Why did fetching fail for my link?
The link may point to a category or search page instead of a single template, or the template may have been removed. Reopen the template on capcut.com, confirm it still loads there, copy the link again, and try once more.
›Why is there only one quality option?
CapCut serves each template's preview as a single rendered file rather than multiple resolutions, so there is only ever one quality to download -- this is normal, not a limitation of this tool.
›Does this export my own edited video?
No. This tool only saves the template's existing preview clip. To export a video you have personally edited with a template, use the CapCut app or website itself.
