What this tool does

Kick Clip Downloader saves a public clip from Kick to your device, so you can watch it offline. Paste a clip link, pick a quality, and download -- no account, no browser extension, and no Kick login required.

How It Works

When you paste a link, the server resolves the clip's available formats using yt-dlp, an open-source media resolver, and lists the qualities available without logging in. When you press Download, the server fetches that stream and relays it straight back to your browser as a download -- it is deleted from the server the moment it finishes sending.

Problems it solves

How to Download

  1. 1 Copy the clip link -- open the clip on Kick and copy its link from the address bar or the Share button.
  2. 2 Paste and fetch -- paste the link and press Fetch Video to load its title and available qualities.
  3. 3 Pick a quality -- choose an option from the list.
  4. 4 Save the clip -- press Download and follow your browser's prompt.

Key Features

Limitations & Availability

  • Private or deleted clips are not reachable, even if you can view them in your own signed-in session.
  • A generated download link expires -- fetch the clip again if it stops working.

Troubleshooting

›Fetching fails even for a public clip

Reopen the clip on kick.com to confirm it still plays, then try again after a short wait.

›Only one quality option appears

This is normal -- Kick clips are usually only stored at a single quality to begin with.

›Download fails

Try again after a short wait, or fetch the clip again to refresh the link.

Frequently asked questions

›Is this legal?

It depends on the clip and your local law. This tool only retrieves the same public clip Kick already sends to any browser that loads a public clip page -- it does not unlock private or deleted content. Kick's own terms technically restrict third-party downloading, though enforcement against personal, occasional use is weak and there is a large market of similar tools. You should still respect the original streamer's rights, especially for anything you plan to reuse or republish.

›Why did fetching fail for my link?

The clip may be private, deleted, or the link may point to a channel page instead of a specific clip. Reopen the clip on kick.com, confirm it still plays there, copy the link again, and try once more.

›Why does the clip only offer one quality?

Kick clips are typically captured and stored at a single quality to begin with, so one option is normal, not a limitation of this tool.

›Does this work on full Kick VODs or live streams?

This tool is built and tested for clips specifically. A full broadcast VOD can be much longer and may time out before it finishes downloading -- for reliable results, use it on clips.

Respecting Creators

Kick streamers build a following through live engagement on the platform itself, often as their primary source of income. Save clips for personal use or reference, credit the original streamer if you repost anything, and avoid passing off someone else's content as your own.
